A HIGHER STANDARD IN PEOPLE... A team ministry can only be effective if there is a personal commitment of each member to whole-heartedly seek God's will for his life. We have endeavored to seek God's will for each position, and have been blessed to have each need filled with talented men of God. Nathan Terry, baritone – Nathan was a co-founder of the Signature Quartet in the late 1990's. He sings baritone and manages the group. He was brought up in the Carthage First Assembly of God church with the aid of his grandparents. Nathan married his wife Amanda just before joining the Airforce. While in the service Nathan learned his trade of water treatment. After discharge Nathan returned to Carthage where he now resides with his wife and two sons Johnathan and Jacob. Nathan is a member of Diamond First Baptist Church where he led worship from 1999 – 2003. Jason Percy, bass – Jason joined the group in the summer of 2001 and is the only bass singer The Signature Quartet has ever known. His musical roots date back to his childhood when he fell in love with the bass singing of George Younce. Jason spent much of his youth moving from town to town with his family both in the Midwest and on the West Coast. He is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University and works in finance. Jason and his wife Myra reside in Carthage, Missouri with their three sons, Daniel, Nathan and Samuel. Jackson Knight, lead – Jackson joined SQ as tenor in the summer of 2002. Shortly thereafter a change in personnel allowed a position change to lead. With both his mother and father serving as church musicians his entire life, singing was a natural progression. A passion for church growth propelled Jackson to teach and direct Sunday school as well as organize youth outreach activities in his community. Jackson works in the Internet services industry and he and his wife Holly live in Purdy, Missouri with their young daughter Ruby. Darrel Morlan, tenor – Darrel began singing tenor for the Quartet in October of 2002 and brings a wealth of experience in music and traveling ministry to the group. In the late sixties to mid-seventies he performed with his brothers, sisters and cousins in The Morlan Family. Darrel then joined The Gospel Lads who were then affiliated with Ozark Christian College and Cecil Todd's Revival Fires Ministries. Darrel ministered in churches across the United States with The Lads until 1983. Since leaving the full-time traveling ministry Darrel has worked as a rural mail carrier for the postal service and actively served in the worship team at his home church. He resides in Purdy, MO with his wife Donna. Doug Clifton, bass guitar – Doug is a well-seasoned musician and has played bass guitar professionally for bluegrass and country bands. In the fall of 2002 he returned to the gospel sounds in which he is rooted, joining The Signature Quartet as bass player. Doug grew up in Purdy, Missouri singing and playing gospel music with his Mother and Father. He still resides in the area, and runs a poultry farm along with his wife Leslea. Doug and Leslea currently have two children, Evan and Mallie. Adam Rasmussen , pianist – Adam Rasmussen began playing piano with SQ in the beginning of 2008. When former pianist J.T. Terry stepped away from the group to devote more time to mission work and his furthering education, Adam was the first and only replacement the group considered. Adam grew up as the son of a pastor and quartet bass singer in Eugene, OR. After graduating high school, Adam attended Northwest Christian College where he accepted a call into music ministry that eventually led him to the music minister postion at Monett Community Church in Monett, MO where he still serves today. Adam and his wife Jessica are expecting a new baby in the summer of 2008 and currently reside in Monett.
